The best Turkish food in the county. Authentic, well prepared, and reasonably priced. Why go to Istanbul ? A recent dinner visit encountered an expanded menu with each new item a gem. Still the best Turkish food around.
Always a treat to eat here. The food is good and is served with a marvelous presentation. Reservations are generally advised. Usually crowded but they recently expanded.

Very attentive, friendly owner who takes personal pride in a restaurant of his nationality. Fresh warm pita accompanies authentic, very tasty food. Good value on prix-fixe meals Sun-Thu.

Friendly greeting and staff. Only problem - our table for 6 was "tight" and we said we had limited time but waitress left us with menu until called back to take the order.

It's one of my favorites. Of course, we don't have a lot of Turkish or other Middle Eastern to choose from but I think Meze is very good. The prixe fixe lunch is a value and if you choose to take out, you get 15% or 20% off which is a great deal and since it's often crowded, a good option. Sadly they don't deliver. Mar 26, 2008 05:15PM
I've never had a bad meal there, and now that they have expanded it's easier to get a table. Everyone I have turned on to that place loves it. Mar 27, 2008 07:07AM

We were invited to Turkish Mezé when we stayed in Harrison with our family members; some of them have been regulars at this restaurant for years even with all the name changes and staff replacements. It is a cozy restaurant; I like the white sheer softly making a contrast against the red walls and red and green striped booths. There were nine of us and we had a feast that night. We had hummus, patlican salad, Jerusalem salads, dolmas, babaghannush, and cacik. We had lentil soup, adana kebab, lamb chops, lobsters, sea bass, and trout. All were good; some were excellent. Not one person among us could think of dessert after the dishes were cleared.

Best Meze: Turkish Meze Mamaroneck (914) 777-3042 ) Flaky golden phyllo dough puffy with tangy feta cheese. Zesty chopped baby eggplant with plump tomatoes and pungent garlic. Savory cubes of tender calf’s liver, pan-seared and served with market-fresh tomatoes, raw onions and crisp romaine lettuce. Plus shredded wheat baklava for dessert. Graze to your heart’s—and palate’s—content.
